In addition to this type of giving, we also make it a point to buy space in other leather groups’ program books and newsletters. Certainly we are happy to use the advertising but more importantly it is a financial show of support.

As always, if your group needs money for a project, please email me at chair@NELAonline.org and I will send you the NELA Grant Application. And if you have ideas for organizations that could use and would appreciate fetish-orientated money, let us know!

In response to our donation, here is a letter from GLAD:

Hi Vivienne,

What a great message to receive this morning.  Thank you so much.  We have really appreciated the support of the Alliance.  It means a lot to us to have ongoing supporters at the Amicus level.  It really fuels our work.

You guys do amazing charitable work.  Congratulations.  And congratulations on your upcoming 20th celebration.

I will circulate to our staff your generous offer of free admission to the Fleamarket and the four tickets to the Saturday night ball.

Thanks for your kind wishes and for the Alliance's support.  I look forward  to a 2003 with many more victories, which only happen because of generosity like NELA's.

All the best for the holidays for you and yours.

    Sincerely,

    Gary
